Harvard beats Princeton 2-1 in overtime before 6,000 at Boston Arena, on a goal by future Massachusetts governor Leverett Saltonstall. The capacity crowd was drawn by the appearance of Princeton’s Hobey Baker, for whom the award for the top collegiate hockey player would later be named.
